Bulldogs 15 hit Game led by Taylor Hewlett

Clarendon College Softball took an early 8-run lead against McCook before giving up 3 runs in the top of the fifth inning. The Bulldogs combined a total of 15 hits on the day, led by Taylor Hewlett, who batted 1.000 with 3 hits, 3 RBI’s, 1 double, and 1 run scored. Miramontez, Telles, Perez, and Garza each had multiple hits in the game for the Bulldogs.

Dezire Garcia got the win on the mound for Clarendon College, as she surrendered four runs, on three hits over four innings, walking one. KaBria Arnold came in relief for Garcia during the fifth inning, facing only five batters, giving up only one hit, 1 strikeout, and zero runs scored.

The Bulldog’s next game is Sunday, February 4th vs. North Platte at 11 & 1.
