Bulldogs Win Back-And-Forth Game Against Ranger

Game three with Ranger this weekend featured three lead changes before the Bulldogs plated two runs in the sixth to win 6-4.

With one out in the sixth, Stefano Berini doubled to left center. After a ground out, Erik Rodriguez singled to right field to score Berini. Rodriguez advanced to second on the throw to the plate and scored on a first pitch single by Fernie Ugarte. Erik Rodriguez led the offense with three hits, two runs scored, and three RBI's. Ugarte, Berini, and Cristian Laboy all had two hits a piece.

With the score tied, Reid Bukowski entered the game from the pen in the third inning in a bases loaded and one out jam. Bukowski was able to minimize the damage allowing only one run to score. Bukowski pitched the remaining 4.2 innings allowing only one run on three hits for the win.
