Clarendon Softball Holds an Early Lead in a 9-1 Win Over Cisco

Clarendon College Softball defeated Cisco College 9-1 on Friday thanks to a timely five run, first inning. Kayla Hill got the Bulldogs on the board early with a 2-run single, scoring both Miramontez and Garza. Perez, Corral, and Alvarez also contributed to the Bulldogs offensive spark in the first collecting 3 more runs. Clarendon College racked up a total of 15 hits in four innings.

Devyn Yanello led Clarendon College to victory on the mound while only allowing six hits and one run over four innings, striking out two. KaBria Arnold came in relief at the top of the 5th inning facing five batters, giving up no hits and zero runs.

The Bulldogs next game is Saturday, February 3rd vs. McCook College at 2:00.
