In what has been a historic season, the Clarendon Bulldogs was able to make the Regional Tournament for the third time in school history and first time in 15 years. Clarendon was led by the steady hands of 2-year starting point guard, Reece Brooks.

Brooks, who was named to the All Conference and All Region teams, averaged 17.2 points per game while shooting 43% from the field and 42.2% behind the arc. Also, he was among the top players in the region averaging 6.8 assists per game and led from the free throw line with 94% .

On Wednesday, April 18, 2018, Brooks officially signed his National Letter of Intent to the University of Albany, a Division 1 school in Albany, New York. The Great Danes hope to get back dancing in the NCAA Tournament, with the addition of Brooks, since the last appearance in 2015. Brooks becomes the first player to sign a full scholarship to a Division 1 school in 15 years from Clarendon College.
