The Clarendon College Men’s basketball team just finish up two Jamborees on back to back weekends.

First, the Bulldogs attended the always competitive Jerry Mullins Juco Jamboree in Dallas.

The Bulldogs played 5 games in two days against very good teams. Friday night the tipped it off against Temple College, Mountain View College and Eastfield College.

On Saturday morning they played Northwest Kansas Tech College and Hutchinson County Community College. It was a great experience and measuring stick for the start of the season.  Freshman D’Tavian Walker played very well all weekend.

This last weekend the Bulldogs traveled north to Lamar, Colorado, to play 3 more solid teams at the Lamar College Jamboree.

They opened up with Lamar Community College followed by Northwest Kansas Tech College and Trinidad State College. The team showed great improvement from a week earlier in Dallas.

The two lone returners in Tavon Alexander and Dashun Dixon played very well over the three games. Newcomers Marcus Ellison, Dominic Obunaka, Quadre Lollis, Nick Hammink, Kobe Allen and  Khalil Newton all did great things to help the bulldogs this weekend.

The Bulldogs next and final scrimmage is this Saturday at 5 PM against the host Hardin-Simmons University in their final tune up before the open up in Nebraska on Halloween Night.
