While most students were enjoying the New Year and time away from school, the Clarendon College Livestock Judging Team was competing in Phoenix, AZ. And their hard work and dedication paid off with being named the overall reserve champion high point team.
The individual placings are below. These judgers are back at practice again this week as they prepare for the National Western in Denver, CO.
Austin Adams of Hedley, TX, was second high individual overall and high individual in the cattle division; Lane Harrington of Frost, TX, was fifth high overall, high individual sheep, and brought home a 5th in reasons; Shannon Reeves of Munday, TX, was sixth high individual overall; and Kobie Jordan of Amado, AZ, was high individual in the swine division and ninth high individual overall.
