The future for the ranch horse looks bright with several newcomers and one returner. The Ranch horse team traveled to two SHOT shows in Vernon and Abilene as well as several RHAA shows. The ranch horse team hosted an RHAA show at the LEC and turned out to be a big success. Dee Oles had a good first half of the show season as he placed 3rd in both Roaring Springs and Amarillo RHAA shows and also picking up the win at Post RHAA qualifying him for the RHHA finals in May. The spring season will start up in February as they will compete at the Abilene SHOT show, an intercollegiate show at the NRCHA celebration of champions, several RHAA shows, and the ASHA National Collegiate Show.
